My name is Alison Greer. I have been a resident of Bawtry for more than 20 years, attended Hayfield School from 1991-1994 and have worked at Bawtry Shoe Company for over 5 years in the office and on the shop floor. Some of you may know my parents Ivor and Carol Greer who were involved in Bawtry Hall, Bawtry Evangelical Free Church and are now resident in Cambodia.

Living and working in Bawtry I have an affinity with the people and an understanding of the dynamics of the town and it's unique opportunities.

On Thursday I had the pleasure to meet in person some of the faces behind some Bawtry businesses at the Bawtry Retailers Association meeting at the Crown Hotel. Over the coming weeks and months it is my intention to build contacts and relationships within Bawtry and to continue to develop Bawtry.org as the comprehensive online listing guide and business directory for Bawtry with an up to date calendar of events happening in Bawtry and a Bawtry tourist information resource.
